What is CPT Test ?
A Cone Penetration Test (CPT Test) can be used to assess whether soil layers are likely to liquefy under different levels of earthquake shaking and assess the liquefaction risk of the site. Liquefaction can cause significant damage to land, buildings, and infrastructure, through sediment being ejected to the ground surface, and subsequent ground settlement, ground cracking, and lateral spreading.
