Two-Storey Duplex Development – Hamilton

DABA Engineering Limited provided structural and geotechnical engineering services for this two-storey duplex development in Hamilton. Our scope included the design of a waffle-slab foundation and the design of masonry-block and timber-pole retaining walls to suit the site’s ground conditions, building loads, and level differences. The solutions were developed to provide safe, durable, practical, and cost-effective outcomes while meeting the relevant New Zealand Building Code and Building Consent Authority requirements.
